| 2004 | NAAU has been granted the status of an affiliate member. This status provided NAAU with an opportunity to participate in the work of General Assembly and ILAC committees with a chance of receiving, reviewing and commenting on drafts of ILAC documents. |
| April, 2008 | NAAU submitted an application to the Secretariat for recognition in the scopes of calibration and testing. Based upon reviewing an application ILAC recommended NAAU to receive recognition in the regional organization EA, which already has recognition from ILAC. |
| March, 2009 | Under Chairmanship of Mr. Zorgach, NAAU's delegation for the first time participated in the work of the ARC ILAC Committee. |
